*A copy of this agreement will be included with the Bid packets and will be acknowledged in signing of the finalized contract prior start of project.
Please read and review carefully.
This agreement states the requirements and accesses to be agreed upon in order to complete the tasks we will be/have been contracted to. If you are not able to fulfill for some reason, we need to be notified in order to plan accordingly. Special accommodations are made for elderly and physically or mentally disabled or injured people.
Refusal or negligence to abide to previously agreed terms may incur extra work charges or termination of project without refund of deposit. This is a case by case basis.
General accesses
· Water. We may need access to water at various stages in the project. Therefore we will need ready access to a utility sink or sink of some kind in which we can retrieve water from. If there are issues with water connection we need to be notified ahead of time to plan properly.
· Electricity. If there is any power supply issues, we need to be notified.
Requirements.
·Financial. Smaller projects require no deposit. A deposit will be required on medium to larger projects. The deposit percentage can vary between 20%-50%, and ultimately depends on the final bid price and the amount of product needed to begin. On projects spanning more than two weeks, payments are required to be made in split installments of 20% deposit, 30% halfway, and the remaining 50% at the time of completion. This is not a static formula and is subject to change, primarily a case by case basis. Deposits are non-refundable.
·Furniture. We will move most furniture, however, excessively heavy objects may be requested to be moved, or at least emptied to lighten the load. We will use furniture sliders, however, there is still a chance that the floor could become damaged in some way. We will not be held accountable for floors being damaged if we are using preventative methods.
· Cabinets. All items must be removed from drawers to be painted, and it is recommended to remove all dishes from cabinets prior to our arrival. We can cover the dishes, and mask off the insides, but dust can still enter. We are not responsible for any dust entering cabinets beyond our recommendations and preventative procedures.
· Cleanliness. We do our best to make sure your house is cleaner than when we arrived. We clean as we go, before, during, and after the project. In turn; upon arrival, excessively dirty/dusty areas that require us to clean in order to perform our duties will be considered as an extra work order. This is specifically important around toilets, stoves, animal bedding or food areas, laundry rooms, closets, etc.
· Cleanliness -Exterior. As with inside, we keep everything nice and clean. We fully require pet owners to do full scans of the yard for pet droppings that may contaminate our tools or personal being. No work will begin or continue until it is removed from the premises. Customers will be charged for any items damaged by contamination.
· Pests. Customers will be required to remove all insect nests or infestations that may cause bodily harm or which can hinder the completion of the project, by means of sacrificing quality and/or outcome. No work can continue until the nest is under control.
· Landscaping. We take care of all flowers and plant life around the houses. If you have anything to let us know prior, please do and well take extra care. All landscaping obstructions around the house must be dealt with prior to our start date. We recommend you trim back trees, plants or bushes at least 12 inches from the house. In the event we have to trim we will not be held responsible for any damages to plant life.
Furthermore, we must be notified of all landscape obstructions such as steep hills, ledges, pillars, retaining walls, trees, adjacent buildings, un-walkable or difficult to reach roof areas, or any other obstructions that may cause safety risk or excessive difficulty setting up equipment.
Products. We like to keep up to date on new products, chemistry, application, equipment etc. We have specific products we know work well with others, and offer a tried and true performance. We're aware of the boundaries of these products. We will only guarantee our work with the products that we choose and recommend. The warranty only covers the products we choose to warranty.
Warranty. The Warranty from the company only covers our recommended method and products. The warranty will cover application failures that are beyond our skill level to repair. In the event of a product failure that is not the result of application, then a product warranty dispute is in need of action. The products we choose to use typically have great warranty circumstances or do not even need one. However, If our products do fail, we will handle the dispute.
This agreement can be changed be added to, or omitted from at any time by the author without any consent to customers. Changes made do not effect previous agreements made under contract, only new contracts made after the changes occur.
